A Separation หนึ่งรักร้าง วันรักร้าว HD 2011 เล่าเรื่องชีวิตของชนชั้นกลางในอิหร่าน ในที่นี้คือ นาเดอร์ และ ซิมิน สองสามีภรรยาที่อยู่กินกันมา 14 ปี และตัดสินใจแยกทางกันด้วยเหตุผลเรื่องความคิดที่ไม่ลงรอยกัน ซิมินอยากย้ายไปอยู่ต่างประเทศ เพราะไม่อยากให้ลูกสาววัย 11 ปีต้องเติบโตมาในสังคมที่เคร่งครัดด้วยกรอบศาสนา แต่นาเดอร์ทำตามความต้องการของภรรยาไม่ได้ เพราะเขาต้องดูแลพ่อที่กำลังป่วยหนัก
Nader (Payman Maadi) and Simin (Leila Hatami) argue about living abroad. Simin prefers to live abroad to provide better opportunities for their only daughter, Termeh. However, Nader refuses to go because he thinks he must stay in Iran and take care of his father (Ali-Asghar Shahbazi), who suffers from Alzheimers.
